So reading Rob's thread about the future of the X-Men movie-verse, one thing comes to mind- adapt new characters! We've seen Wolverine, Storm, Xavier, and Magneto star in a minimum of four movies each (is Wolverine up to 9 appearances now?). How many times has Psylocke shown up though? How about Cannonball?
Or former favorite, for that matter?

Two different conversations that I've had recently about two different properties have had me thinking a lot about one of my biggest pet peeves with the fan community- speculation and supposition being taken as fact. But why?
With the the massive news of Spider-Man joining the MCU, there's a lot of questions up in the air. Is it definitely going to be a reboot? If so, who's going to play Spider-Man? Is it even going to be Peter Parker in the webs? (My answer- yes, but I can almost guarantee you that Miles Morales will show up quickly.)
UPDATE: We're six issues and an annual into the series now. Where does this mystery stand?
